Why your information is used
Your information is used only to reply to you, hold and follow up on calls you request, and keep basic business records. Where privacy laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, this is your consent, steps you ask for before a possible agreement, or a legitimate interest in running and securing this website.
How long it’s kept
Booking and email records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes, and for as long as tax and business record-keeping rules require.
Third-party services
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Bookings are handled by Cal.com, and video calls may use a service such as Google Meet or Zoom. Emails sent to hello@smallideasturnedbig.com are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google (Gmail) inbox. These providers process data on my behalf under their own privacy policies. Links to social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) are governed by those platforms’ policies.
These providers may store or process data outside your country, including in Canada and the United States. Where the law requires it, they use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailinghello@smallideasturnedbig.com. You can also withdraw consent you’ve given at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights. In Canada, these come from PIPEDA and provincial laws. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, the GDPR also gives you the right to object to or restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of US states with privacy laws have similar rights. I’ll respond within the time the law in your location requires.
